Over 7 years ago, my family and I emigrated to the U.S. from Tanzania where I had build a strong business and media presence which had subsequently opened board, speaking, and professional association opportunities around the globe.



When we moved to the U.S., I became a stay-at-home mother of two toddlers while my husband completed his graduate degree. As you can imagine, there were few opportunities to network beyond my present company of adorable 2 and 3-year-olds 🥰



To thrive, I had to reinvent myself in the reality of my new context - to quote Bob Burg, I had to build a personal brand my ideal client can get to “know, like, and trust” so they can do business with me.



Fast-forward to the present, I am the CEO of a U.S., government contracting, member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, management consulting firm with a team of five senior leadership and business consultants that serve clients across six continents. And we are just getting started!
